- Vishwa
Yoga Darshan is a perfect place for yoga and meditation.
It is situated in the mountain range of Sahyadri, the ashram
is surrounded by fascinating landscapes and natural beauties.
It is an ideal location away from city and stressful modern
life.
The
new ashram is becoming more popular as it offers stress
free Yoga Life style in natural environment.
This
place is in the vicinity of Lord Trimbakeshwara, one of
the 12 most important and auspicious Shiva Temples in India.
Lord Shiva is the origin of Yoga Tradition; this makes the
location of the ashram more significant. Millions of devotees
visit the Shiva temple annually. Surrounding mountains are
considered as the heaven for Yogis, next to Himalayas, to
perform Yoga & Mediation practices.
Facilities
-
Yoga, Meditation facilities, Ayurveda, Herbal treatment,
Massage, Nature therapies are made available in the ashram
at cost. Medical Facilities including emergency services
are also provided.
Lodging-
Ashram provides lodging facilities to students. A student
is provided with an independent compartment in a house.
Every house has 4 compartments, the house is self contained
having attached toilet block. Independent wardrobe with
a locker is provided to every student. A bed, mattress,
blankets, sheets and pillow are also provided.
A laundry service is available in the ashram at cost.
Note
- We provide Yoga Mats to the students to use during the
course at NO extra charge.
No
of Students per batch are about 28
Boarding-
Dining room provides pure
vegetarian food in accordance with the
Aryurveda life style; the food is non spicy, rich in raw
vegetables. Daily diet consists of various fruits (including
seasonal fruits). Herbal
drinks are provided instead of tea and coffee.
The food is supplied is strictly organic and non-processed.
A precaution is taken to maintain nutritional value of the
diet.
For every individual the Ayurveda diet is recommended considering
ones requirements.
Note
- A complete silence is maintained in the dining room during
the meals and breakfast.
Library
-
A good collection of books, in the library proves to be
a valuable resource to aspiring Yoga Students. It includes
various books on Yoga, Meditation, Tantra, Vedas, Upnishdas,
other Indian philosophies, Ayurveda, naturopathy etc.
Personal
Guidance - Personal guidance for medical problems using
Yoga Techniques, Herbals and ayurveda techniques is available
for the students.

Rules
for Participants -
Please
note that you are entering an Yoga Ashram, which is a new experience,
the rules should be followed so as to get the maximum benefit
of this Environment and make your experience enjoyable.
1.
After the admission, participants cannot leave the campus (except
for 1 weekly off). In case of emergency, written permission from
the Course Coordinator is required.
2. No
friends, relatives are allowed to stay with participants without
any prior permission.
3. Visitors are not allowed in the campus except for visiting
hours.
4. Children below age of 10 years can stay with their parents,
but a prior permission is necessary.
5. For getting the best results from practice of yoga, the course
schedule, diet et al have been changed; the participants are requested
to adjust to this environment as quickly as possible.
6. Participants must follow the timetable.
7. Participants must attend all sessions, Lectures and all other
activities.
8. Please don't bring valuables, if you want Yoga Vidya Dham can
keep them safely for you during the course.
9. If you are physically unwell, you are requested to contact
the Resident Medical Officer immediately.
10. You can bring your medicines and continue personal treatment,
but it is advisable to inform about your ailment & treatment
to the medical officer or your class teacher.
11. In case of major health problems initial treatment will be
provided by the medical officer, any further treatment required
during the course will have to be managed from external medical
experts on your own.
12. You can get the information about India, various tourist destinations
like goa, kerala, Andaman & nicobar islands etc. in Yoga Vidya
Dham, also you may get help for train reservations, flight reservations
and accommodations etc. Please remember this is for the convenience
of course participant's.
13. Necessary food arrangements are made in the institute and
no external food is allowed. (The food in the institute is strictly
vegetarian.) To experience good effects of Yoga, please do not
have anything from out side to eat.
14. Alcohol, tobacco or other drugs / steriods
/ smoking et al are strictly not allowed in the Ashram
Premises. (This behaviors may invite strict action
against the persons violating the law.)
15. Please bring 3 passport size photos with
you.
16. There is complete silence during the meals.
Course
